Xiao Wu vs. Huo Wu

Linyuan Academy faced Blazing Fire Academy.

Before either side had taken the stage, someone in the stands had already raised Blazing Fire Academy's red flag. Huo Wu was the academy's vice-captain, a level forty-three control-type Soul Ancestor whose Martial Soul was Fire Shadow. She had plenty of fans.

Linyuan's seven members walked onto the arena. Blazing Fire Academy's seven followed close behind.

As they lined up, Huo Wu's gaze settled on Xiao Wu, and she raised an eyebrow.

"Exactly what I said. If you win, I change mine. If I win, you change yours. Fair?"

Huo Wu snorted. "Fine. Don't cry when the time comes."

The referee blew the whistle.

Huo Wushuang released his Martial Soul. The One-Horned Fire Tyrant Dragon possessed him, and the level forty-two Power Attack System fighter's hands became covered in crimson scales. The arena floor grew faintly hot beneath him. Behind Huo Wu, her Fire Shadow Martial Soul took the form of a blazing red human silhouette, flames surging around it. Huo Lie released his Fire Leopard Martial Soul, and flames shaped like a leopard's head gathered over his fist. The brothers Huo Yun and Huo Yu released their Fire Crane Martial Souls together, two fiery crane silhouettes spreading their wings behind them. The last two towering team members released their Fire Star Martial Souls, sparks hovering above their palms.

Huo Wushuang let out a low roar and charged first.
