Background

Dark Gold Guga appeared after Lin Yuan absorbed his first Soul Ring. Her strength surprised the hunting party, and her arrival gave Lin Yuan martial-soul feedback that nearly doubled his physical strength 12.

She became one of Lin Yuan’s regular combat companions. During their nightly cultivation, she and the original Guga began circulating Soul Power of their own, feeding a small portion to Lin Yuan and their Soul Rings 16. As more Gugas joined them, Dark Gold Guga remained one of the group’s principal attackers 23 75.

Dark Gold Guga is a small humanoid in a Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear costume 12.

Personality

Dark Gold Guga is usually quiet and economical with words, but readily challenges other fighters and grows competitive with the other Gugas. Food can command her full attention: she ignored the original Guga’s poking to finish her flatbread, and later ate through more seafood than her arguing companions 12 125.

She is persistent in combat, continuing to attack the regenerating Starry Sky Vine after it trapped her and repeatedly confronting the stronger Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff despite being knocked back 17 72.

Her claw strikes carry the offensive power inherited from the Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear 12.

• Severed a tree with a gentle swipe and shredded Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass before it could touch her 12 14.
• Cut through the True Martial Mystic Turtle’s exposed flesh and wounded a Hundred-Thousand-Year Rocksplitter Thorn Dragon through its armor 27 92.
• Overpowered Tai Tan’s Eighth Soul Skill after Little Moon teleported her behind him 68.
• Could not seriously injure the Rocksplitter Thorn Dragon with a single attack 92.

Strength and Durability

• Caught the first punch of Tai Tan, an 86th-level Soul Douluo, in one hand 67.
• Took steel needles and Bone-Piercing Nails to her fur without a visible mark 14.
• Could be restrained by the Starry Sky Vine’s rapidly regenerating vines; the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff also repelled her in direct clashes 17 71.

• Cultivates independently, strengthening her own body and Soul Ring while passing some Soul Power to Lin Yuan 16.
• Her summoning gave Lin Yuan physical-strength feedback; he estimated his strength had nearly doubled 12.

Relationships

• Lin Yuan — Her summoner and caretaker. She fights to protect him and cultivates alongside him 12 16 19.
• Guga — The original Guga calls herself Dark Gold Guga’s big sister. They compete over food, but also rest together and fight on the same team 12 15 75.
• Starry Guga — Dark Gold Guga initially judged the newcomer by her fighting ability, then accepted her healing as useful and promised to fight alongside her 17 18.
• Little Moon — Frequently teleports Dark Gold Guga into attacking positions and teases her into chases 23 56 68.
• Golden Mastiff Guga — A fellow attacker whom Dark Gold Guga challenged almost immediately after her arrival 72.
