That evening in the library, Ron kept staring at Kyle with envious eyes.

More precisely, he was staring at the Transfiguration assignment from Hannah in front of Kyle.

"Why does Kyle get to copy homework directly?" Ron looked at Hermione, who was helping him check his assignment.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "If you can silently cast a spell to turn your Scabbers into an exquisite snuffbox instead of leaving a rat tail sticking out, you can copy homework too."

Ron sheepishly looked away.

He was still counting on Hermione to point out the mistakes in his Transfiguration essay. How could he dare talk back to the little beaver?

He pulled a face. "Isn't that Transfiguration material we won't learn until next year?"

"Hannah and I have already started trying to learn it." The little beaver spoke proudly.

Kyle paused his quill. "If you were willing to spend more time on Transfiguration instead of Wizard chess and whatever else you waste your time on, you'd find it isn't actually that difficult."

Having been exposed for slacking off every day, Ron awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

Hannah was a little embarrassed too and lightly kicked Kyle under the table with her little leather boot.

Kyle's lecture to Ron had included her as well. She spent a great deal of her spare time on Chocolate Frog cards.

Kyle smiled at her, and the little girl immediately turned away, pretending she knew nothing.

Compared to the other four, Harry beside them seemed rather distracted.

That morning, out in the castle courtyard, the old bat had confiscated Quidditch Through the Ages, which Hermione had lent him to pass the time.

Maybe because Harry had not dressed as a girl, the old bat had not treated him very well.
