Viola wore a dress made for dancing Flamenco, identical to the one worn for one of Spain's two great cultural traditions on Blue Star.
Flamenco was passionate, uninhibited, graceful, and powerful. Through every movement, a dancer could express her deepest, most unguarded emotions.
"Miss Violet!"
The guards bowed one after another. In this country, members of the Donquixote Family naturally outranked them. The Squad Leader was delighted. With an officer taking over, they could finally breathe easier.
Around someone of Rubick's caliber, they feared one wrong move might get them killed.
Rubick immediately copied Viola's Glint-Glint Fruit ability. He fixed his gaze on her.
"Mind Reading!"
The moment Viola met his eyes, she felt as though she had been stripped bare. She covered herself at once, her cheeks burning red.
Conis asked with concern, "Miss Violet, are you all right?"
Viola's expression darkened. "Rubick, that was incredibly rude!"
"Sorry," Rubick said. "That fruit ability is fascinating. I couldn't help looking a little longer."
"Pervert!"
Rubick said, "Uh... I didn't use Clairvoyance. I only read your mind. So, Princess, shall we find somewhere quiet to talk?"
Viola suddenly set aside her embarrassment and straightened, showing off her figure. She remembered what she knew about Rubick, and then thought of Princess Vivi of Alabasta, who had once faced a predicament much like hers.
If Rubick was willing, Viola would give anything for him to defeat Doflamingo and save this country.
"Please follow me," Viola said. "I know a place with wonderful food. Distinguished guests come from far and wide, and they can't praise it enough."
"Lead the way," Rubick said.
Viola led them on. Behind her, Kalifa whispered to Conis, "Your Majesty, be careful of this princess. She's no child like Vivi. His Majesty might take an interest in her."
Conis smiled.
