The giant Hajrudin fell to a single move from Rubick. Dragon Soars, Regrets Too Late sent him flying onto the spectator stands.
Rumble!
Hajrudin's massive body smashed through the steps, sending rubble everywhere. The nearby guards hurried over and dragged him away.
Rubick called out, "Come at me together. I'm in a hurry."
The remaining fighters stopped and looked at one another.
A man with unusually prominent shoulder blades, dressed like a Muay Thai fighter, stepped forward. "I'm Ideo, the Destruction Cannon. My punches explode!"
Ideo drew back his right hand, and Rubick clearly saw the bulge on his shoulder swell.
"Take this! Destruction Cannon!"
Ideo leaped in to close the distance and drove his right fist at Rubick. The punch looked ordinary enough, but Rubick had already seen what happened when it connected: a violent explosion swallowed its target.
Dragon scales had appeared on Rubick's body. Ever since he had gained a dragon's body, he had enjoyed meeting force with force. He held his horse stance and thrust out his right claw.
The move was, in essence, Immortal Points the Way.
"Divine Dragon: Golden Dragon Claw!"
Ideo's expression turned grim. Just as he was about to meet Rubick's Dragon Claw, he released the power gathered in his shoulder, unleashing a huge explosive shockwave from his fist.
Ideo had been confident. Even a giant's body could not completely withstand that impact. But to his shock, the explosion failed to spread. Rubick's Dragon Claw drove it straight back at him.
Anyone facing Rubick might not have seen it clearly, but the spectators behind him saw everything. Not a trace of the blast's force or smoke reached his sides or back.
With a boom, Ideo was hurled away by his own explosive shockwave and rolled to the edge of the arena floor.
