Viola hugged Rebecca tightly again. "Rubick promised me he'd save the king, defeat Doflamingo, and bring light back to Dressrosa! You won't have to suffer anymore. You're a princess of the royal family too!"
Rebecca stood rooted to the spot. Then she said, "Wait. Why would Rubick promise you all that? He's a pirate too. He's a Shichibukai!"
Viola answered frankly, "Because I'm his woman now. That's why he promised me. Rebecca, I'm no longer fit to inherit this country. From now on, you'll have to fight for it."

Before the two could sort out their family affairs, another person suddenly appeared in the room. King Riku could hardly believe he had lived to be reunited with his family.
