After another day at sea, Igaram suddenly shouted from the lookout at dusk, "Land! We've reached the Drum Kingdom!"
"We've reached the Drum Kingdom!"
Igaram climbed down from the lookout and hurried to tell Luffy and the others. "Let's put on warm clothes first. The Drum Kingdom is a Winter Island, and the temperature is usually below ten degrees Celsius."
Luffy and the others rushed back to their rooms. Once they had bundled up, they went to Nami's room.
Luffy was the first to go down. "Uncle, we've reached the Drum Kingdom!"
Rubick had Vivi's arm pressed against his cheek and was holding on tight. When she saw everyone come in, her face turned bright red.
If they hadn't known Rubick was unconscious and ill, the others might have taken him for a dirty old man.
Zoro coughed, then came over with a leather coat. "I'll help Uncle put on something warm. Take one upstairs for Nami. We've reached the Drum Kingdom."
Vivi pulled her arm free, found two warm coats in the wardrobe, and hurried upstairs.
Sanji gritted his teeth. "I'm so jealous of Uncle!"
Zoro didn't even look at him. He helped Rubick into the leather coat, hoisted him onto his back, and went upstairs.
Everyone gathered on deck, stunned by the view. Nami studied the terrain and found a passage where the ship could enter the island. The shore drew closer.
Towering, pillar-shaped snow mountains rose above forests of snow-laden pines and frozen earth and rock. If the sea hadn't remained unfrozen, the Going Merry might not have been able to make landfall at all.
But as they reached the shore, dozens of men in thick padded coats appeared on either side of the harbor. Every one of them carried a gun and wore a fierce expression.
