On the shore, Rubick was winding up a spell.

At his command, a breeze stirred around him. Sand lifted from the ground and swirled slowly around him. Then the wind grew stronger, snapping his coat.

Baroque's agents had no intention of standing around while Rubick unleashed his attack. They charged him, heedless of their lives.

"Praise nature!"

Rubick raised both hands. The wind around him spun faster, forming a typhoon in moments, with Rubick at its eye.

"Breath of the Gale: Bloodstorm!"

Rubick sprinted toward Baroque's agents, the typhoon moving with him. Sand and stones flew everywhere, blotting out the sky.

By the time the agents tried to run, it was too late. The typhoon was made of blades of wind spinning at tremendous speed. They swept through the crowd, cutting countless tiny wounds into their bodies.

As Rubick passed through their ranks, the wind swept them into the sky. The blood that had just begun to flow from their wounds scattered overhead, staining the typhoon dark red. It had earned the name Bloodstorm.

Rubick's strength gave out. He dispersed the typhoon and dropped to his knees on the ravaged sand, swallowing hard to hold back his nausea.

What had happened to those Baroque agents was too gruesome. Rubick swore he would never use such a sickening move again. It turned his stomach.

Fighting through his exhaustion, Rubick summoned a strong wind that blew the bodies into the sea and swept away the sand. Apart from a faint smell of blood, the shore was peaceful again.

Some Baroque agents farther away had yet to join the fight. After seeing what happened, they fled. Their superiors had been sliced up like vegetables; they had no desire to share that fate.
