With his strength, Redfield could have dodged Dove's ability before it took hold, even if he could not break free afterward.
He chose not to. Like Owl, he let Dove take control.
If they wanted to enter the heart of Mary Geoise without anyone noticing, Dove's ability was the safest choice.
Who knew whom they might encounter along the way, or what unusual technology might be hidden there?
The scene shifted. The three of them appeared in a grove surrounded by a clear river.
Creating scenery like this atop the hard earth of the Red Line was no small feat.

Even as the World Government weakened and its finances declined, it had never scrimped on appearances.
This was the "Holy Land," after all.
A so-called "Holy Land" was built with cold, hard cash.
"The base is a little over twenty meters underground. Get ready."
No further explanation was needed. Dove used his ability to shift them through space again. The three passed through dozens of meters of earth, bypassed the base's tight defenses, and entered its interior.
Had they tried the front entrance, the World Government might have detected them before they even reached the door.
The three appeared in a corridor inside the base.
Two guards stood directly ahead.
"Who are you?"
The sight of three unfamiliar figures startled them both.
After all, no matter what happened outside—even if Mary Geoise fell—it had never affected this base.
It had been that way for years. The base was sealed off.
Yet outsiders had appeared inside it.
By the time the guards reacted, it was too late.
Redfield's cold gaze sharpened, his pupils narrowing
