Pirate crews followed the carp native to the waters around Wano Country, scaling the cliffside waterfall and entering its inland sea.
They followed the Kurozumi Clan's ships to Onigashima, which the clan had spent years developing as its public base.
"Old woman, you never said anyone else would be here."
The atmosphere was tense at the banquet the Kurozumi Clan had arranged.
The pirates exchanged glances, then turned their displeasure on Kurozumi Mucicic and Kurozumi Sentai.
Finally, one pirate slammed a palm on the table and stood up.
"Hee hee hee! What a nasty way to speak. I'm your senior, after all. Besides, I'm not that old yet, am I?" Kurozumi Mucicic gave a shrill, eerie laugh. He touched his face, and it changed at once into the fresh, beautiful face of his youth.
Behind him, Kurozumi Sentai held a large biwa, eyes closed and silent.
"Wano Country is no ordinary kingdom. None of you could take it on alone."
"But there's enough in Wano Country to satisfy all of you. Once it's dealt with, if you're capable of driving everyone else out, I won't stand in your way."
Kurozumi Mucicic's words eased the tension somewhat. After all, he had no reason to lie to them.
If Wano Country were weak, he could occupy it himself. He would have no need to call them all here.
Besides, of the two before them, Kurozumi Mucicic might be the weaker one, but Kurozumi Sentai had formidable abilities.
