At the very least, he wanted Pluton's energy reserves filled so it could fire six consecutive shots.
Six shots was Pluton's limit.
Energy technology on the seas was highly advanced. Even cola could serve as fuel.
In the past, when super-energy technology still existed, Pluton could be recharged whenever its energy ran out.
But that technology had been lost, either taken away by the Great Kingdom before its destruction or hidden somewhere in a remote corner of the seas.
Against the World Government, they needed to go all out and use every ounce of their strength.
Even Shiki did not know whether Pluton would be destroyed like Uranus once it appeared.
So he needed to use it as much as possible. Ideally, he would drain every last bit of energy and flatten Mary Geoise.
If he succeeded, he would claim the throne of King of the World. If he failed, he could not let the World Government have Pluton.
Even if Pluton survived, he would destroy it himself.
He had made up his mind about some things long ago.
To use Uranus more often, the World Government had been researching super-energy devices wherever it could.
Now, to use Pluton, the Flying Pirates needed to conduct research in the same field.
The Flying Pirates did not have energy technology as advanced as the World Government's, but Pluton's energy requirements were also lower.
Even though the Flying Pirates had gathered quite a few scientists, this was an extremely difficult field. They might not produce results even after decades.
Shiki's demand was
