End-of-month wrap-up
I only posted five bonus updates this month, which was a little on the low side, and I still owe you two bonus chapters.
If we reach 3,500 votes today, I'll owe three chapters; if we reach 4,000, I'll owe four.
But there was really no getting around the Spring Festival. Back in my hometown, New Year visits didn't end until the sixth day of the lunar new year.
Fortunately, at least I kept up 8,000 words a day throughout the month without slipping. In an ordinary month, that would only count as above average.
But this month, that should count as top-tier no matter how you look at it.
So I did at least live up to the subscription support from all you esteemed fellow Daoists.
After all, quite a few big-name authors stopped updating for days at a time. I, Old Four, really didn't dare follow their example.
There weren't many readers keeping up with the latest chapters to begin with. If I stopped updating even once, I'd probably lose a hundred or two.
Around the fifth or sixth of next month, I'll make up the chapters I owe from this month.
Tomorrow marks the start of a new month, and there'll be a monthly-vote bonus story—a long side story. If you're interested, feel free to take a look.
But remember to open the monthly-vote bonus chapter before casting your monthly votes, or you won't be able to read it!
