A note on the title change!
This book hit a bottleneck two or three months ago. I asked my editor about it, and his answer was that Lineage fiction was a niche genre to begin with.
My results were pretty decent for a Lineage novel.
But it was still hard to climb any higher.
The pool was only so big, after all, and fewer and fewer of you esteemed readers were coming in.
As for the specific reasons, they really came down to the book's performance, subscriptions to the latest chapters, and things like that.
After all, every book lives or dies by its results. If it isn't doing well, it isn't doing well. Readers will abandon it, and Qidian will forget it.
This time, I tried a completely different title, and even changed the tags and synopsis, just to see whether it would make a difference.
So please bear with me, everyone.
Authors have to eat too. If we can't afford to, all we can do is give up, and no one will sympathize.
As for the claim that the results got worse with every title change, that definitely wasn't the case. The numbers were at their best during the "Creation Immortal Clan" period.
Of course, it might not have been the title. The word count might simply have reached the right point for Qidian to give it more exposure.
Back then, subscriptions to the latest chapters alone didn't change much. They kept fluctuating slightly up and down.
But that only lasted a little over a month.
Compared with other xianxia novels that gained two or three hundred new bookmarks a day for months on end, it was a long way behind.
Finally, let me say this again: this is an attempt to save myself. If it doesn't work,
