Speaking of Spirit Springs, one had to start with the Spirit Veins and Spirit Eyes of the Cultivation World!
Spiritual energy was not evenly distributed throughout the world. It was dense in some places and thin in others.
Over time, Spirit Veins of varying sizes generally formed where spiritual energy was dense.
A large Spirit Vein could stretch unbroken for tens of thousands of miles, while a small one might span only a few miles, pitifully narrow by comparison.
But regardless of size, once these Spirit Veins formed, they released a faint stream of spiritual energy, keeping the energy in the area circulating without ever running dry.
Even along the same Spirit Vein, however, the amount of spiritual energy varied from place to place.
The spots where it gathered most densely were naturally the best places for Cultivators to meditate and train. The Cultivation World called them "Spirit Eyes."
Spirit Eyes were usually invisible and colorless. Cultivators could only sense their presence.
If a place was called a Spirit Eye, it was unquestionably the spot with the most spiritual energy on the nearby Spirit Vein!
If the energy in a Spirit Eye grew dense enough and remained that way for a long time, it would gradually take physical form, becoming a Spirit Eye Object.
Examples included Spirit Eye Pearls, Spirit Eye Stones, and Springs of Spiritual Eyes.
There was even the legendary Spirit Eye Tree, the highest-grade kind of all.
The appearance of a Spirit Eye in physical form was exceedingly rare.
Each took tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, of years to develop, along with a stroke of good fortune.
As a result, these physical Spirit Eye Objects released far more spiritual energy than ordinary Spirit Eyes.
Meditating and training near one could speed up cultivation remarkably.
