In the real world, Mo Xie slowly descended, settling cross-legged on the ground as the pale blue radiance around him gradually faded.
After leaving the Totem Space, he slowly opened his eyes. Pale blue light filled his pupils, and two wisps of cold air drifted at the corners of his eyes, as though a single glance could freeze someone solid.
"So Sister Bai sent me here because of the Ice Phoenix..."
Mo Xie studied his reflection in the ice crystal before him, looking at his forehead. The Ice Phoenix's mark had been branded there and was shimmering with pale blue light.
With a gentle brush of his fingers, the mark on his forehead disappeared.
The cold air in his eyes dissipated. Mo Xie glanced around and found only the little ice tiger beside him. Little Sky Tiger was nowhere to be seen.
"Little White, where did your friend go?"
The little ice tiger let out a cry and shook its head.
"You mean it went out, but you don't know what it went to do?"
Mo Xie sighed. While he was still puzzling over this, a tiger's roar rang out above the canyon. Looking up, he saw Little Sky Tiger leaping down step by step on suspended ice crystals.
On closer inspection, he discovered Mu Bai and the others sitting on its back, even waving at him.
"Mo Xie!"
The group climbed down from Little Sky Tiger's back and walked over to Mo Xie.
Jiang Shaojun, however, was different. He gazed at Little Sky Tiger in fascination, taking pictures one moment and stroking its silky fur the next. He was practically ready to plaster himself against it.
Unable to stand him any longer, Little Sky Tiger immediately shrank back into its tiny form and ran to Mo Xie's feet.
