The woman froze for a moment. The colors in her bright eyes slowly shifted, her soft, full figure tensed, and her delicate hands quietly clenched. No one could tell what she was thinking.
"Hahaha, I'm kidding. I didn't know a girl would be out here at this hour."
Mo Xie scratched his head and laughed, breaking the awkward silence.
At his words, the woman relaxed. Then she remembered something: wasn't she the one he'd taken advantage of? How had their roles suddenly reversed?
"You lecher! You almost fooled me. We haven't settled the matter of you peeking at my body!"
Her cheeks flushed as she came to her senses, and she pointed at Mo Xie and cursed him.
"Well... I really didn't get a good look."
Mo Xie's mouth twitched. His skill at talking his way out of trouble clearly needed work. He raised his hands as he spoke.
"How about we leave this awful place first and talk once we reach town? Do you know the way out?"
The woman's expression turned cold, but she said nothing more. She merely pointed in one direction.
Mo Xie nodded and started walking the way she had indicated.
As Mo Xie exposed his back without the slightest caution, a trace of hatred flickered through her eyes. She moved a hand behind her back, and the leaves nearby seemed to stir, as though something indistinct lurked among them.
He saw the moths, and he saw me naked. Sorry, but I have to subdue him!
