The churning water looked terrifying. Every branch in its path was torn to shreds in an instant.
Orochimaru, however, remained calm. "Evil Snake Coil!"
A giant snake appeared out of thin air. Orochimaru pushed off with his toes and landed on its head.
It twisted through the air and hurtled toward Yahiko.
The massive, turbulent surge of water might as well not have existed to Orochimaru.
Yahiko's face tightened. He quickly stepped back. "Water Release: Water Wall!"
A huge wall of water rose before Yahiko.
The giant snake showed no sign of slowing down. It charged straight at the wall.
Orochimaru made no move to dodge from his perch. Instead, he rapidly formed Hand Seals.
"Tongue Snake Swallowing!"
The moment the giant snake struck the water wall, Orochimaru caught sight of the barrier shattering.
He immediately unleashed Tongue Snake Swallowing. A small snake shot through the broken wall, straight toward Yahiko's neck.
Before Yahiko could dodge, it sank its fangs into his neck.
Yahiko stared in horror at the snake clinging to him. Pain stabbed through his neck, and he immediately felt blood draining from his body.
A powerful numbness followed.
He tried to escape, but he could no longer move. His entire body had stiffened in place.
He watched in terror as Orochimaru approached, one step at a time.
Orochimaru met Yahiko's defiant gaze and said calmly, "I told you. You can't stop me!"
His tone was full of arrogance.
Yahiko said nothing. He only glared at Orochimaru.
Ordinarily, Tongue Snake Swallowing did not rely on venom to restrain its target.
But to bring Yahiko under control as quickly as possible, Orochimaru had deliberately used a venomous snake.
He had even gone to the trouble of finding one with relatively weak venom.
