Tsunade couldn't risk it. If the deadline moved up too, wouldn't she be forced to accept the mission penalty?
That was something Tsunade couldn't accept.
So she had no choice but to make an excuse and keep Hiruzen Sarutobi and Uchiha Yin from rushing ahead.
Seeing Tsunade's serious expression, Hiruzen Sarutobi took a drag on his pipe. "Tsunade's right. I was too hasty. Yin really is too young, and it would be bad if someone set their sights on him. I rushed this."
It's true. As long as he stays in Konoha, I can make sure Danzo doesn't try anything underhanded. But once he leaves, it'll be hard for me to stop whatever Danzo might do.
Tsunade has thought this through more carefully than I have.
Hiruzen Sarutobi seemed to have misunderstood something.
Uchiha Yin nodded in agreement. He hadn't been in any hurry to graduate early anyway.
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle.
Slices of meat coated in sauce touched the bottom of the pan, making a pleasing sound.
The intense heat instantly turned them an appetizing dark brown, and the aroma of meat spread through the air.
Huff, huff.
Mikoto blew on a slice of meat held between her chopsticks, then placed it in Uchiha Yin's bowl with a sweet smile.
"Yin, eat up. I just blew on it to cool it down."
After leaving the Hokage's office, Uchiha Yin and the others no longer felt like training. Since it happened to be lunchtime, they went to a barbecue restaurant to eat.
Uchiha Yin popped the meat into his mouth in one bite. Its tender, silky texture made him want more.
After finishing it, Uchiha Yin picked up a piece of grilled meat and held it to Uchiha Mikoto's lips.
"Ah, open up."
Uchiha Mikoto blushed and happily ate the meat
