She moved quickly, heading straight for Uchiha Yin's quarters.
Anko knew exactly where his bedroom was.
She also knew she could not hide her approach from him.
So she made no attempt to conceal herself and went straight there.
Yin had gone to bed early after returning. There was not much else to do.
But not long after he lay down, he sensed someone approaching.
The Chakra felt familiar. After a moment, he recognized it as Anko's.
He wondered what had brought her here at this hour.
He said nothing and sat up to wait for her.
Less than two minutes later, Anko appeared on his windowsill in a pale purple bathrobe.
A bathrobe did not cover much to begin with.
And Anko was a ninja who moved freely. Much of her skin was now exposed.
At a glance, Yin felt something stir within him.
Still, he acted as though nothing was wrong.
"Anko, what brings you here so late?"
His voice was gentle, but it lacked the eagerness Rin Nohara had described.
For a moment, Anko felt deeply frustrated.
Am I not as pretty as Rin? Is that why Master Yin is so cold to me?
She could not help thinking it.
Yin watched the expressions flit across Anko's face and found her adorable.
"Anko, if there's something you need, just tell me."
If you keep this up, I don't know what I might do.
Yin kept that last thought to himself.
But Anko took his words as a sign that he wanted her gone.
The blush vanished from her face, replaced by a defiant look.
She pushed off the windowsill and landed steadily in front of him.
She had kicked off her wooden sandals at the window, leaving her pale bare feet on the floor.
They were lovely.
