Though she phrased it as a question, the excitement in Kurotsuchi's voice was unmistakable.
Uchiha Yin had agreed to take her as his student, but she had never expected him to actually teach her anything.
Chapter 540: The First Lesson
She had assumed he only wanted to keep her close so he could watch her.
So even though Kurotsuchi liked Uchiha Yin very much, she had never asked him to teach her Ninjutsu.
Even she felt that would be asking too much.
Now that the thing she wanted most had come from Uchiha Yin himself, Kurotsuchi was thrilled.
She leaned so close her face was almost touching his. "Got it! When do we start?"
Uchiha Yin raised his chopsticks and pressed their tips against her forehead. With a little push, he nudged her back.
"After breakfast, of course. Are you planning to waste the food you made?"
He looked helpless as he said it.
He had never realized Kurotsuchi could be this clingy.
Kurotsuchi seemed to notice his expression. Embarrassed, she lowered her head.
"Okay, Master Yin. I understand."
Kurotsuchi was distracted throughout breakfast.
Once they finished eating, the two headed toward the Training Ground.
It was Kurotsuchi's first time seeing Konoha's Training Ground.
She was excited the whole way, looking around at everything.
Unlike the wide-open training grounds in Iwagakure, this place resembled a forest. It was quite beautiful.
Still, once she entered, Kurotsuchi felt a pressure that made her frown despite herself.
Even so, she was not afraid in the least. Uchiha Yin was right beside her.
As far as Kurotsuchi was concerned, nothing could go wrong as long as he was there.
Uchiha Yin had no idea she felt that way. If he had known, he probably would have been rather proud.
