Yahiko had no time to worry about himself. He stumbled, but kept the little girl tucked against his chest as he hurried toward the shelter.
He had thought that no matter how densely the Ninjutsu rained down on the battlefield, there would still be gaps he could slip through.
Once they crossed this combat zone, they would be more or less safe.
But he had never imagined the Ninjutsu would fall as thick as the rain in Amegakure.
In just a hundred meters, Yahiko had been hit by three Ninjutsu attacks.
A large patch of skin on his back was burned, and a rock had gashed his arm.
The worst injury was the blow to his head when he shielded the little girl.

"Watch what you say, or you'll regret it!"
His voice was colder than ever. There was no doubt that if Black Zetsu said another word, Obito Uchiha would kill him without hesitation.
