Uzuki Yugao studied Uchiha Yin's expression and finally believed him. She nodded obediently and sat down by the window, across from him.
Once she was seated, Uchiha Yin called a server over and asked for another set of bowls and chopsticks and a wine cup.
When they arrived, Uchiha Yin took the cup and gave it a flick, sending it straight toward Uzuki Yugao's face.
The warmth in Uzuki Yugao's eyes vanished the instant she saw the cup flying at her. Her gaze turned sharp, cold, and intimidating.
She raised her right hand before her face and spread her fingers slightly, catching the cup in an instant.
Only after setting it safely on the table did the sternness gradually fade from her face.
She looked innocent and adorable again. Uchiha Yin could not help feeling startled. How could a girl's expression change so quickly?
Even so, Uchiha Yin said nothing. He merely waved a hand, and the wine rose from the flask. It swirled through the air, releasing its aroma, before settling into the cup in front of Uzuki Yugao.
Uzuki Yugao had not expected Uchiha Yin to pour her wine himself, much less like that. Her cheeks grew warm. She picked up the cup and drank in tiny sips.
It was not her first time drinking, but she had never grown used to the wine's sharp bite. Now, though, she could barely taste it.
Under the gaze of the man she liked, every other sensation slowly faded, leaving only the pounding of her heart.
Uchiha Yin had expected Uzuki Yugao to drink boldly. After all, she had come over of her own accord and offered to drink with him.
Instead, she took tiny sips as though she were drinking tea.
Uchiha Yin had never seen anyone sip wine like
