Kurenai Yuhi seemed dissatisfied with his answer. She frowned slightly. "Master Yin, you've never treated me the way you treat Anko and Rin!"
It took Uchiha Yin several seconds to realize she was jealous.
And even when Kurenai Yuhi said something out of jealousy, she made it sound perfectly justified.
A smile tugged at Uchiha Yin's lips. "So that's what this is about. Kurenai, you're different from them. I can't treat you the way I treat Anko."
He meant that Kurenai Yuhi was cool and reserved, like an ice beauty, and so pure that he couldn't bear to sully her.
But that wasn't how Kurenai Yuhi heard it at all.
She took it to mean Master Yin didn't like her. A trace of sorrow entered her usually cool eyes.
Uchiha Yin missed the subtle change in her expression and kept smiling.
Kurenai Yuhi sighed softly. "In that case, I'll say what I came to say, so I won't have any regrets."
She raised her head and looked Uchiha Yin straight in the eye. "Master Yin, I like you. I don't want to be the exception. I want to be yours and stay by your side from now on!"
Her expression was resolute. Her almost otherworldly eyes were impossible to look away from.
