As she said this, Kurotsuchi pointed at her own cheek, looking utterly incredulous.
Uchiha Mikoto gave her an exasperated look. "Yes, Kurotsuchi is a girl too. Of course she'd be upset after seeing Kurenai Yuhi in your room!"
Only then did Uchiha Yin finally catch on. Looking uncomfortable, he asked, "So Kurotsuchi's angry?"
Mikoto did not want to say any more, but she nodded honestly.
After all, Kurotsuchi was a child she was very fond of. She could not bear to see her suffer like that.
It was better for Yin to know sooner. If he liked Kurotsuchi, he should take better care of her. If he did not feel that way, he should not put a girl experiencing her first crush through such pain.
Yin looked conflicted. "Mikoto, I never thought about it that way. I just thought Kurotsuchi was clever and lively, and that I liked having her around!"
Mikoto felt a wave of exasperation. "I remember you felt the same way about your three students at first!"
Hearing the sarcasm and hint of displeasure in her voice, Yin had no idea what to say. He looked distinctly uncomfortable.
Mikoto had always admired Yin, and she had always spoken to him politely.
Now that she had finally found something she could hold over him, she was hardly going to let it go. She kept looking down at him as though she had the upper hand.
Yin was unhappy about it, but he could not very well argue.
After all, that really was how he had felt about his three students at first. Given how things had turned out, he had no grounds to object.
Mikoto looked at the silent Yin and ultimately could not bring herself to keep lecturing him. "This is your problem, so take your time
