The moment Uchiha Izumi opened her eyes, she noticed something different.
Activating her Sharingan had never been painful, but using and controlling it had always taken considerable effort.
Now, though, it felt much easier. The difference was obvious in how she tracked movement and judged what she saw.
Movements she once struggled to follow seemed almost to slow down before Uchiha Izumi's eyes.
Every motion became crystal clear. A bee that would once have flashed past her eyes so quickly she could barely see it now seemed to move slowly enough for her to make out the beating of its wings.
Izumi instinctively turned her head to avoid the bee, then stood frozen, looking around her in disbelief.
She kept looking for a while. When her vision remained just as clear, joy welled up inside her.
This mission suddenly seemed wonderful. Not only could it bring her closer to Lord Uchiha Yin, it had improved her strength so much!
For a moment, Uchiha Izumi even found herself thinking, If only there were more missions like this. My training would progress so much faster!
As that thought crossed her mind, a voice suddenly sounded in Izumi's head. It carried a hint of embarrassment.
It was none other than the system. "Uh, I forgot something just now!"
The system fell silent, as though it found the matter hard to bring up.
Izumi had not intended to ask, but when the system stopped speaking, she had little choice. "What did you forget? Are you going to tell me?"
Izumi truly was kind. Even with the system stumbling over its words and hesitating, she spoke gently.
The system finally coughed twice and said in earnest, "Congratulations on completing your first mission. Your next mission is to face Kurotsuchi in a match and defeat her!"
