Kurotsuchi, standing before Uchiha Mikoto, looked much the same.
After speaking with Uchiha Yin that morning, Kurotsuchi had gone straight to Uchiha Mikoto and asked her to help her train in Ninjutsu over the next two days.
Uchiha Mikoto was startled at her first glimpse of Kurotsuchi. The girl was usually so mischievous, and now she stood before her looking suddenly mature. Anyone would have been surprised.
So the first thing Uchiha Mikoto asked was, "Kurotsuchi, what's wrong? Did someone upset you?"
Even as she spoke, Uchiha Yin appeared in Mikoto's mind, and she began thinking of ways to get back at him for Kurotsuchi.
Uchiha Mikoto loved Uchiha Yin dearly, but that did not mean she cared any less about Kurotsuchi. She was still a child, after all.
