After getting dressed, Uchiha Yin sat on the edge of the bed and gently stroked Mikoto's hair, his face full of affection.
The moment Mikoto heard him, the little resentment she had left vanished.
She silently scolded herself for being so hopeless. She really had no resistance to Uchiha Yin at all.
She waved him off with a displeased look. "All right, hurry up and go!"
From her tone, Uchiha Yin knew she was no longer angry. He felt a wave of relief.
He stood and headed for the door. "You're the one telling me to leave. Don't give me trouble over it later!"
Uchiha Mikoto's face instantly flushed bright red. "Go away! Who would make a fuss over something like that?"
Uchiha Yin immediately used the Body Flicker Technique and vanished, leaving only his hearty laughter behind.
Uchiha Mikoto pulled the covers over her head, a smile spreading across her flushed face.
After a thoroughly satisfying night, Uchiha Yin left in high spirits.
Meanwhile, Uzuki Yugao looked anxious. She had just returned from a mission and ought to have been relaxing.
But as she neared the village, she heard a voice in her mind that she had not heard in a long time. It was the system.
The system spoke with a teasing lilt. "You don't have much time left to complete your mission!"
Then it fell silent. No matter how Uzuki Yugao called out to it in her mind, she got no response.
Uzuki Yugao's expression darkened. By her reckoning, she had only three days left.
At the thought of the punishment, her face grew even more troubled. She looked almost as though she were marching to her death.
Her mission partner saw her expression and grew nervous. He asked cautiously,
"Was there something wrong with the mission
