Uchiha Yin saw how red Kurotsuchi's face had turned and stopped teasing her. He went over to wait, though that half-smile never left his face.
Kurotsuchi's face was still bright red, but she was smiling too. She was clearly happy.
The two of them ate dinner together, smiling all the while. The night passed in a blink.
That night was nowhere near as easy for Samui. She could not forget the meaningful look Uchiha Yin had given her before he left.
He had looked as though he knew something. Even when her companions told her the mission had been completed perfectly, Samui could not shake her unease.
All she could do was pray that they would leave Konoha without trouble the next day. In her eyes, the mission would only be a success once they had.
