After leaving Uchiha Yin's room, Samui stayed in her own. She did nothing but sit there in a daze.
She still hadn't recovered from the shock of what Uzuki Yugao had said.
Samui had known that Uchiha Yin had many lovers, including some who were bold and passionate. But rumors were one thing; seeing the naked reality with her own eyes was another.
Uchiha Yin leaned against her doorframe with a smile. "What's wrong? Did that scare you? If so, you're going to have a hard time in Konoha!"
His obvious teasing left Samui feeling unwilling to back down.
"You're reading too much into it. I just have nothing to do, so I'm bored!" She stubbornly turned her head away, refusing to meet his eyes.
Yin didn't call her out on it. He merely raised an eyebrow. "Letting you eat and stay in Konoha for free can't go on forever, but I don't have a secretary position to give you."
Samui's heart sank. If that was the case, all she could do was watch her mission fail.
Then she would be controlled into attacking Minato Namikaze, and Kumogakure would be slaughtered because of her foolish actions.
The more she thought about it, the more panicked she became. Despite her best efforts to hide it, Yin noticed.
Uchiha Yin frowned. "Are you a workaholic or something? Is having nothing to do really that painful?"
