Uchiha Yin frowned deeply at those words. In his frantic rush, he really had forgotten about Kaguya. He nodded and said, "I understand. Go back for now!"
With that, Uchiha Yin shooed Itachi away without even checking whether he had anything else to say.
Uchiha Itachi was utterly speechless, but he was also relieved to have escaped another disaster.
Without saying anything more, he turned and headed toward ANBU headquarters.
Uchiha Itachi ate a little food that Kurotsuchi, who was busy in the kitchen, gave him, then went to find Kaguya.
He had been so busy lately that he had not even had time to visit her. Now that he was finally going to see her, it was still for official business, and Uchiha Yin felt terribly guilty.
Even so, he had to go and ask her about it. After all, if this matter remained unresolved, that child Hinata would remain in danger.
He could drive those three away or even kill them, but if their clan kept pursuing her relentlessly, that would be a serious problem.
As he pondered this, Kaguya's residence came into view. He had intended to think carefully about what to say on the way, and had deliberately refrained from using Space-Time Ninjutsu.
Yet even though he had walked all the way there, he had already arrived by the time he came back to his senses.
At that moment, Uchiha Yin grew melancholy. He stood at the entrance, hesitating over whether to go inside.
In the end, Kaguya spoke first from inside. "You're already here. What are you standing outside for?"
Uchiha Yin froze for a moment, looking embarrassed. "Coming!"
The instant he pushed open the door, he saw Kaguya Otsutsuki leaning against the window, looking utterly bored.
His heart immediately ached for her. This woman
