Samui watched the three girls dash off, then turned to Uchiha Yin with a smile. "Those three are adorable. I'm sure they'll become outstanding ninja someday!"
"Of course they will," Uchiha Yin said, as though it went without saying. "They're my students. Name one of my students who hasn't turned out well!"
Samui found herself at a loss for words. Come to think of it, every one of Uchiha Yin's students had excelled. They were all women, and now they were all outstanding Jonin. Kurenai, Anko, and Rin Nohara were just a few examples.
"Yes, Lord Hokage, you really are an exceptionally good teacher," Samui said at last, drawing out the words with obvious reluctance.
Uchiha Yin didn't mind. He grinned. "I suppose I'll accept the compliment. I have things to do, so I'll be going. I won't waste any more time here with you."
He sauntered off. Minato Namikaze had no idea what to say to that, but he kept quiet. The man was a legend of the Shinobi World. Minato could think whatever he liked, but he would gain nothing by arguing with him.
