Hinata suddenly cried out, "There's a long wire trailing from the blade, and it's sharp!" Uchiha Yin walked over with a smile and patted her head. "Hinata, well done. You spotted it quickly. Now you three can stand aside and keep an eye on Mr. Tazuna. Help Sakura treat the cut on her face while you're at it. It would be a shame if it left a scar!"
The three girls breathed a sigh of relief. They did not try to act tough; they knew the man in the tree, Zabuza Momochi, was far beyond their ability to handle.
They hurried Sakura Haruno and Mr. Tazuna to the side. Ino Yamanaka kept watch over Tazuna while Hinata Hyuga carefully began treating Sakura's cut.
Sakura was a girl who cared about her looks, yet at that moment she paid no attention to the wound on her face. She stood still and let Hinata treat it, but her eyes never left Tazuna and Zabuza. She was determined not to let Mr. Tazuna come to harm.

The fear and concern in Hinata's voice were genuine. She nearly rushed over to help him. Uchiha Yin was delighted to hear it. "Don't worry, Hinata," he said with a grin. "You know how strong your teacher is, don't you?" The easy smile on his face instantly put her mind at ease.
Hinata nodded obediently. "Then please be careful, Teacher!" She lowered her head and went back to treating Sakura's wound.
