Sakura's expression was a sight to behold. She never imagined things would come to this: the fish she had worked so hard to save was now going to be taken home and eaten!
"Maybe not. I put a lot of effort into saving it! I'm heading back." She turned toward the building where she had been earlier. After putting the fish in the pond and washing her hands, she left.
Sakura was in high spirits as she walked. Since she had a rare bit of free time, she decided to visit Hinata and Ino and headed for the place where they usually trained together.
When she arrived, Hinata and Ino were practicing Taijutsu against each other. Sakura was just glad she hadn't made the trip for nothing when Hinata missed her footing, stumbled, and fell. One hand landed on a sharp stone behind her, and when she lifted it, blood streamed from the wound. Ino stared in alarm.
Sakura rushed over and took Hinata's hand. Only then did Hinata and Ino notice her, their faces lighting up. "You finally had time to come see us!"
Sakura smiled. "Hold on. Let me treat that wound first!" She gathered her Chakra and began healing Hinata's hand.
Hinata looked astonished. She hadn't expected Sakura to have learned Medical Ninjutsu already. Beside her, Ino watched, dumbfounded, as the wound visibly closed.
In less than a minute, Sakura withdrew her hand and let out a breath. "All done!" Hinata flexed her hand. It was completely healed, without even a hint of pain.
"Sakura, you can use Medical Ninjutsu now? That's amazing! If I get hurt in the future, I'm counting on you!"
"Of course," Sakura said with a smile. "But I'd rather never have to use Medical Ninjutsu on either of you!"
