"Enough," Jiraiya called out.
"I've decided to stay and teach them some ninjutsu. You two go on ahead."
"Jiraiya, are you crazy?" Tsunade frowned at him, her eyes full of confusion. "Why would you decide to stay?"
"We were invaders, after all. The war's over now, and I'm no longer needed. I want to leave these children with some skills to survive as compensation."
"I'll leave once they can survive on their own. Consider it atonement." Jiraiya looked at the two of them.
"If that's what you want, fine."
Chapter 150: Teaching Paper Release
"Ahem. Konan, I'm going to train you properly from now on."
Uchiha Yin cleared his throat twice and spoke to Konan.
As Konan's master, Uchiha Yin couldn't simply leave her untaught.
Konoha had defeated Amegakure. All that remained was to wait for Tsunade's advance force to return and for the other ninja to finish the negotiations. There were no other missions.
So Uchiha Yin could make time to teach Konan.
Konan hadn't begun training as a ninja at the ideal age, but Uchiha Yin believed that under his guidance, she could become strong—even stronger than she had been in the original story.
After all, Konan had reached Kage Level in the original story. If she didn't surpass that under his guidance, Uchiha Yin would feel like a failure.
"Konan, how is your chakra extraction coming along?" Uchiha Yin asked.
"Yin, I can extract chakra now. Pretty impressive, right?" Konan said with a smile, her eyes narrowing.
Konan truly had a talent for ninjutsu. She had managed to extract chakra less than a week after receiving the chakra refinement scroll.
"Yes, you're very impressive, Konan," Uchiha Yin said, praising her without reservation.
"So, is there any ninjutsu you'd like to learn?" Uchiha Yin asked.
Konan blinked, puzzled.
