"How do you feel, Sara? Are you confident?" Uchiha Yin asked with a smile.
"Of course I am, Yin!"
"Hmph. Six months ago, that rotten little brat mocked me and provoked me. I'll show him just how much he has to learn. I'll show him what a real genius looks like." Sara wrinkled her nose and gave an indignant snort.
Those few remarks Kakashi had made six months ago had truly infuriated Sara.
Back then, Sara had only just started training, yet Kakashi had struck at her confidence again and again. Without Uchiha Yin's encouragement, she might have given up.
She had even wondered whether she had been right to leave Rōran and follow Uchiha Yin to Konoha.
If Uchiha Yin had not spoken up and made that wager, Sara might never have recovered her confidence.
At the thought, Sara's eyes blazed and her breathing quickened. She looked ready to burst with anger and wanted nothing more than to challenge Kakashi right then and there.
Then she would teach him a lesson and make him understand that he should never underestimate others.
"It's good to be confident, but don't underestimate him. He's a Konoha genius too. He became a Genin at five, and after another six months, he may already be as strong as a Chunin," Uchiha Yin reminded her kindly.
"I won't lose, Yin! Just watch me!" Sara nodded at his warning.
Still, she kept looking at Uchiha Yin.
"Yin, do you think I'll lose?" Sara wrinkled her nose indignantly.
How could I lose? I've trained hard for the past six months, and Yin even gave me a puppet of my own.
And to get stronger, I kept completing those embarrassing tasks. I'm far stronger than I was before.
