Just then, for some reason, Kaguya stepped in front of Sara.
"Leave these three to me," Kaguya said calmly.
"Sister Kaguya, are you going to fight?" Sara and Konan asked, both looking surprised.
Neither had expected Kaguya to want to take on the three of them.
They didn't look that strong. Why would she bother?
Was there some other reason?
Sara and Konan were curious.
"Don't underestimate us!" the three Mist Ninja roared. Sara, Konan, and Kaguya's disregard infuriated them.
Were they ignoring us? How could we let that slide?
Members of the Kaguya Clan were combative by nature. If they felt looked down on, they had to reclaim their pride.
Dance of the Willow.
Countless bones sprouted from the Mist Ninja's chests, arms, and palms.
Swaying like willow branches, they moved with astonishing speed and slashed at Kaguya.
When they saw that Kaguya seemed to have no intention of defending herself, cruel smiles spread across their faces.
"We'll cut you to pieces!" the Mist Ninja howled.
A flawless white hand, smooth as jade, reached out and gently gripped a bone jutting from one attacker's chest.
The Mist Ninja was still dancing when a tremendous force seized his body, bringing him to an abrupt halt.
"What? How is that possible?"
The Mist Ninja froze for an instant, then his expression turned even more frenzied.
Dance of the Camellia.
"That isn't how you use the Shikotsumyaku."
With a casual block, Kaguya stopped the Dance of the Camellia, though its attacks were many times faster than ordinary strikes.
All-Killing Ash Bones.
A hard gray bone spike emerged from Kaguya's palm and struck her opponent's bone.
"It's no use! Physical attacks are the last thing we of the Kaguya Clan fear!"
Her opponent laughed wildly, but the laughter suddenly died in his throat.
