Cheers erupted from the spectator stands.
Neither fighter let the noise distract her.
Pakura's expression did not change as she saw the Kunai hurtling toward her.
"Even if you can dodge, what good does it do you when you still can't land a hit on me?"
Just as the Kunai was about to strike Pakura, fireballs appeared around her and blocked its path.
Then came that familiar sizzling sound.
The Kunai under Sara's control melted in an instant.
The two seemed to be right back where they had started.
"Sara's at a disadvantage. Come on, Sara!" Konan could not help saying.
An ordinary spectator might not have understood what was happening, but Konan saw it clearly.
It looked as though neither Sara nor Pakura could do anything to the other.
In truth, Sara's attacks could not hit Pakura at all. If Pakura's Scorch Release struck Sara even once, Sara would lose the fight.
Sara had far less room for error than Pakura!
Sara's face grew grave. She had clearly realized how bad her position was.
She sprang backward and solemnly took a scroll from her hand.
"What? Are you giving up? Or are you going to use more of those useless Kunai?" Pakura asked with a lovely smile.
Having Sara on the defensive gave Pakura a peculiar thrill.
"No. Ordinary Kunai have no chance of defeating you."
"So I'll beat you with the gift he prepared for me."
"I forgot to tell you. I'm actually a Puppet Master!"
Sara opened the scroll with a confident smile, releasing a puff of white smoke.
Sara's words left Pakura with a knot in her chest.
Seeing the happiness on Sara's face filled Pakura with envy.
