A flicker of worry crossed Uchiha Mikoto's face when she heard Uchiha Zhi's words.

Mikoto was still young, and she normally wouldn't have thought about such dark possibilities.

After Zhi left, Mikoto warned Yin again. "Yin, don't show off your talent in front of other people anymore. Keep a low profile. If some bad people notice you, things could get ugly."

"Got it, Mikoto. The way you're acting, you're like a fussy wife worrying about her husband."

Seeing the concern on Mikoto's face, Yin felt a warmth spread through him.

He smiled as he teased her.

"What are you talking about? I'm just an older sister looking out for her little brother. Don't get the wrong idea."

Mikoto puffed out her cheeks and tapped Yin on the forehead.

But when she saw his mischievous grin, her voice grew softer and less certain.

She even started avoiding his gaze.

She had to admit that she seemed to like this younger brother more and more.

"Okay, okay. I won't get the wrong idea. It's just an older sister looking out for her little brother."

Yin's voice was full of teasing.

At his words, Mikoto felt her cheeks grow hotter.

"Hmph. Forget it. Listen or don't."

In the end, she couldn't bear the way Yin was looking at her and fled in a fluster.
