Shizune was so torn she was almost in tears.
Noticing that Shizune seemed to be spacing out, Uchiha Yin walked over and gently pinched her cheek.
Mm, that felt nice.
"Hey, Yin! What are you doing?" Shizune's face immediately scrunched up in protest, her cheeks bright red.
Wow! Yin is really handsome. Being his girl might not be so bad!
Shizune thought this in a daze.
"Nothing. You looked a little tense, so I wanted to help you relax."
Having pinched Shizune's cheek and seen her instantly pout, Uchiha Yin smiled, feeling oddly satisfied.
It was a strange feeling. Perhaps he had wanted to pinch Shizune's cheek ever since his previous life.
Uchiha Yin showed no embarrassment at all, offering the explanation casually.
But the atmosphere only grew more awkward.
Rin Nohara and Kurenai Yuhi stared hard at Shizune, as if she had stolen something from them.

"Introduce ourselves? What should we talk about?" Rin asked softly, taking his cue with a thoughtful blink.
"Things you like, things you dislike, your dreams for the future, your interests... That sort of thing," Uchiha Yin said with a shrug. "That should cover it."
He recalled how Tsunade had guided him back then.
