But when she saw Uchiha Yin, delight flashed across her face before she put on a look of disdain.
"Oh, it's you, Yin," Kushina said, looking thoroughly unimpressed.
"What's with that look? Aren't you happy to see me?" Uchiha Yin teased.
The delight in Kushina's eyes had vanished in a flash, but Uchiha Yin had still caught it.
"Of course I'm happy to see you. I just thought an enemy was attacking and I'd finally get a good fight. But it turned out to be you. What a letdown."
Kushina lifted her chin with a huff.
"If you want a fight, Kushina, you'll get one soon," Uchiha Yin said meaningfully.
Kushina caught the unusual note in his voice.
"Did something happen? Or is something about to?" Her expression turned serious.
Chapter 347: I Missed You
Sensing that what Uchiha Yin had to say was no small matter, Kushina quickly led him into the main camp.
"Yin, what are you doing here?" Jiraiya exclaimed, his white hair unmistakable.
"Why can't I be here? Can't I come see my Kushina?" Uchiha Yin was a little surprised to find Jiraiya there, but not especially so.
After all, Jiraiya could hardly sit still in Konoha forever. It was only natural for him to get out and about.
Jiraiya watched Uchiha Yin casually put an arm around Kushina while she showed no sign of resisting. He felt a twinge of envy.
Maybe I should find myself a partner too?
