"Dad, what's wrong with you? You seem off no matter how I look at you!"
Anko, who had been complaining about Uchiha Yin, finally noticed that something was wrong with her father and asked him bluntly.
"Anko, Lord Uchiha Yin is every bit as important as Lord Orochimaru. When it comes to teaching students, he may even have more experience."
"You must get along with him, understand?" Anko's father said with a stern expression.
"I know, I know, I know." Anko rattled off the words almost by reflex, then said impatiently, "Dad, can you stop lecturing me? I'm not a little kid."
Thinking back on what had happened that day, Anko felt she ought to be furious. Strangely, she just couldn't bring herself to be angry.
You're certainly not a little kid anymore. You're nine or ten years old, but even a little kid would give me less to worry about. Anko's father's lips twitched as he watched her impatient expression, but he kept the words to himself.
Still, he said worriedly, "Remember, Anko, don't do anything that goes too far. Understand?"
"Yes, yes, yes." Anko looked thoroughly impatient.
People had a stubborn streak. The more her father warned her, the more Anko wanted to go against Uchiha Yin.
Uchiha Yin had no idea what was happening on Anko's end.
At that moment, the lottery had his undivided attention.
"Tell me how to draw, System," Uchiha Yin said calmly.
"Of course, Master," the system replied in a sweet voice.
In the blink of an eye, a prize wheel appeared before Uchiha Yin.
