Sheer numbers could crush anything, and the Land of Wind had far more troops than Konoha. Even if Uchiha Yin arrived, all Konoha would gain was one more Kage Level fighter.
Hatake Sakumo had no idea that Uchiha Yin had long since surpassed Kage Level.
"Is Ebizo our opponent?" Uchiha Yin murmured, rubbing his chin.
If Ebizo had not improved, his strength was still at the lower end of Kage Level.
But Ebizo's strength lay not in his fighting ability, but in his strategy and control of the battlefield.
Under his command, even the Sand Ninja Border defenses, manned by Hatake Sakumo, Kushina, and Tsunade, were steadily falling back.
"Our strongest fighters outmatch Sunagakure's, but at the middle and lower levels, the gap in numbers is too large. Once fighting starts, all our strongest fighters will be tied down."
"Even if we force a battle and win, both sides will likely suffer heavy losses, giving the other Ninja Villages an opening," Hatake Sakumo continued.
He was right. Konoha and Sunagakure were not the only ones involved in the ninja war. If both sides bled each other dry, the other Ninja Villages would gladly swoop in.
"So have you tried the Decapitation Operation?" Uchiha Yin asked.
"The Decapitation Operation?" Everyone exchanged puzzled looks.
They had never heard the term, but its meaning was clear: kill Ebizo first, and Sunagakure would struggle to organize its forces. Its scattered Sand Ninja would lose much of their fighting strength.
"We've considered the Decapitation Operation, but Ebizo has at least five Elite Jonin or even Quasi-Kage guarding him. And Ebizo himself is Kage Level. He won't be easy to kill."
Tsunade picked up where Uchiha Yin had left off.
"But this is our chance. Once Rasa arrives, the fight will be even harder," Uchiha Yin
