"Lord Hatake Sakumo, we can't! We're badly outnumbered. Even if we win, it'll be a costly victory," another group of ninja protested.
The camp erupted into argument. For the moment, no one could make a decision.
Meanwhile, inside the Sand Ninja's main camp on the Konoha border, a Sand Ninja knelt with his head bowed, reporting to the two men before him.
