"So once you're done cooking, I can come back and cause trouble?" Uchiha Yin asked with a wicked grin.
"No, you can't! Get out already. The food's about to burn." Mikoto nudged Uchiha Yin's hand with her elbow.
"Okay, okay. I'm going." Uchiha Yin knew when to stop and left the kitchen, wondering how to explain Kushina to Uchiha Mikoto.
Before long, Mikoto had finished cooking. She served the rice and set everything on the table.
"Father-in-law's gone out again?"
Uchiha Yin looked at the two pairs of chopsticks and two bowls on the table.
"Yeah. Dad seems to have taken another mission," Uchiha Mikoto said, sounding unconcerned.
"Mikoto, are you free this weekend?" Uchiha Yin asked.
"Sure. I should have plenty of free time lately."
"Something happened to my team, and it's been disbanded. So I'll probably be free for a while." Uchiha Mikoto's eyes dimmed.
"What happened?" Uchiha Yin asked curiously.
"Something went wrong on our last mission. We lost a teammate, and the team hasn't been re-formed yet. For now, I'm on my own."
Uchiha Mikoto kept it brief. Clearly, she didn't want to say more.
"Let's not talk about that. Yin, did you want to invite me somewhere this weekend?" Uchiha Mikoto asked, her face brightening with anticipation.
When Uchiha Mikoto heard Uchiha Yin ask about the weekend, she thought he wanted to take her on a date.

"Well, I became Tsunade's apprentice yesterday. I told you last night, remember? Tsunade is going to train me this weekend, and she asked me to bring you along."
