This was Mei Terumi's pride.
Uchiha Yin saw it all and smiled. "It's nothing. Madara Uchiha is old, after all. He's no longer at his peak. Beating him was easy for me."
Uchiha Yin gave a soft chuckle as he spoke.
"I couldn't control the fallout from the fight, though. It was Madara Uchiha, after all. I'm afraid your Kirigakure is all but destroyed."
"It's fine. If Kirigakure had stayed in Madara Uchiha's hands, it would only have kept declining. Better a sharp pain now than a long one. Kirigakure still has a chance to rise again, doesn't it?"
Mei Terumi looked at Uchiha Yin, blinking as she spoke softly.
"Yes, it does. What happens next depends on you. I won't interfere in your takeover of Kirigakure."
As for Yagura, after being caught in the clash between Madara Uchiha and Uchiha Yin, there was probably not even ash left of him.
With that, Uchiha Yin called out, "Kisame, Juzo Biwa."
"At your service!" Kisame and Juzo Biwa stood respectfully behind Uchiha Yin.
"Help Mei Terumi become the Fifth Mizukage. And if Madara Uchiha or his subordinates ask you to join an organization called the Akatsuki, join them. You can act as my spies."
Uchiha Yin smiled faintly as he spoke.
"Yes, Master," Kisame and Juzo Biwa replied.
"You can go. Help Ao deal with the aftermath," Uchiha Yin said.
"Yes, Master." Kisame and Juzo Biwa each took one of Ao's arms and led the bewildered man away.
"Kirigakure's leadership is almost entirely dead. I should be able to handle things even without Kisame and Juzo Biwa's help." Mei Terumi turned to meet Uchiha Yin's eyes.
Mei Terumi had once cared about nothing but Kirigakure. But after meeting Uchiha Yin, he had come to mean more to her than the village.
