"Phione, do you want to go inside?"
Phione still remembered what she had come to do. After a harmless little joke, she finally asked the question.
Xu Mu was speechless.
Sweetheart, does it look like we want to stay out here, blocked at the entrance?
"Hahaha! Then Phione will give you a little help!"
With a laugh as clear as a child's, Phione stretched out a tiny hand and removed the barrier-like shield.
Then she looked at Lugia and spoke as though they were old friends.
"Your color seems a little off. This white doesn't look like your original color!"
(Previously revised: Lugia's color is normal, unlike Loki's.)
Phione seemed to have seen through everything. Without giving Xu Mu a chance to ask, she continued, "Go on in. Someone inside is waiting for you."
"Especially that Little Lugia!"
"Oh, and Hoopa, do you want to stay and play with Phione for a while?"
At that, Hoopa remembered Gengar and Alakazam, whom he had left in Another Dimension.
"Sure! I have two friends to introduce to you. Let's play together!"
The kids went off to play. The adults had business to handle.
After telling Hoopa not to cause trouble, Xu Mu followed Lugia deeper into the palace.
Sure enough, there was something mysterious about this place.
Phione seemed to know plenty, but she simply wouldn't say.
Xu Mu didn't press her. Ever since he got the system, he had understood one thing.
If it comes to me, I'm lucky. If it doesn't, that's fate!
Xu Mu and unexpected incidents go hand in hand. If nothing ever went wrong, why would I be here?
I'm here now, so I might as well take things as they come. No need to ask. The truth will come out sooner or later.
