Hearing Lovers' words, Wheel of Fortune smiled calmly.
He said to Lovers:
"Now you're seeing things clearly. If we stick to the plan, we'll get our revenge!"
Lovers then said to Wheel of Fortune and Strength:
"Your plan is sound, but it's missing one crucial step!"
Wheel of Fortune asked, puzzled:
"Oh? What's missing?"
Lovers saw Wheel of Fortune's expression and smiled.
Then his face turned vicious as he told them:
"After we deal with those three, we'll have Strength go straight to Tarot."
"He'll tell Tarot that everyone except him is dead!"
"Tarot won't sit around waiting to die. He'll go straight after Xu Mu for revenge."
"And Xu Mu is no pushover. He killed six of our presidents single-handedly."
"Once Tarot finds Xu Mu, even if Tarot wins, I'm sure he'll be badly wounded!"
"Then we strike together. This time, Tarot won't escape!"
Strength looked displeased. "Lovers! Are you saying we can't beat Tarot ourselves?"
Lovers replied easily, "Even if we could beat Tarot, I think we'd take heavy losses. Why not let Xu Mu deal him a serious blow first?"
Seeing Strength's expression darken, Wheel of Fortune hurried to say:
"Strength, don't get angry. If we face Tarot at full strength, we're bound to take some losses."
"But if we let Xu Mu do the work, we can reap the rewards!"
Wheel of Fortune looked at Strength again.
Strength considered his words.
He wasn't clever, but he wasn't a fool either. Getting Tarot killed through Xu Mu would certainly be a good thing.
With that thought, Strength forced down his anger.
He looked at the two of them and said coldly:
"I hope so."
Then Strength walked straight out of the meeting room.
Lovers and Wheel of Fortune exchanged a glance.
They smiled helplessly.
