He'd also called Misty Jessie's daughter. There was no way Misty could calm down after that.
Misty was furious. If he'd been talking about someone else, she might have let it go. Age was a touchy subject, after all.

The man had heard what Misty and Jessie said, and he was starting to understand.

As if they could read his mind, Misty and Jessie stared at him coldly.

The man was about to learn how frightening it could be to offend a woman.

Jessie was so angry she practically had steam pouring out of her head.
