"Don't rush. The Training Hall isn't going anywhere. As long as we make it there on time, they won't run off!"
Misty and Jessie stared at Xu Mu in dismay. You could've said that earlier! Then we wouldn't have rushed through our food!
At long last, after Misty and Jessie had waited impatiently, Xu Mu finished eating. He turned to their expectant faces and said:
"Let's go! You've waited so long, you must be dying to leave!"
Misty and Jessie looked utterly miserable. You're one to talk! You made us hurry through our meals while you took your sweet time.
In Misty's mind, a furious version of herself roared at Xu Mu:
"Could you stop saying pointless things and just get moving?"
"I swear I'll never come here again as long as I live! Xu Mu, you don't just mess with people—you torment them!"
As if he knew what Misty was thinking, Xu Mu teased her:
"What's wrong, Misty? Don't tell me you don't want to go anymore?"
He watched her with an amused smile.
Jessie saw that the two of them were about to start bickering again.
She hurriedly pulled Misty toward the door, saying to Xu Mu as she walked:
"Let's get going! We can talk later!"
Xu Mu shook his head helplessly and followed the two of them out the door.
As they walked, Jessie suddenly remembered a serious problem. They had to challenge the heads of five Training Halls, but she didn't know where a single one was.
A little embarrassed, Jessie turned back to Xu Mu and asked:
"Xu Mu, where are we going?"
Xu Mu, strolling along behind them, couldn't help laughing.
He said to Jessie with an amused look:
"So you don't know? The way you were marching along, I thought you did!"
