Xu Mu was staring right at him.
But Kale wasn't the least bit afraid.
All he felt was embarrassment.
He had just seen his daughter being intimate with her boyfriend!
It was awkward as hell!
Kale forced a smile at the two of them.
"I, uh, just came to tell you something."
"Dinner's ready!"
With that, Kale fled the room.
He ran as if he had seen something terrifying.
But Xu Mu wasn't about to let Kale off that easily.
There was just no dealing with the man.
He was like a dog that wouldn't stop pestering you.
Nothing worked on him.
He wasn't dangerous.
But Kale was like a caterpillar.
He didn't bite, but he still made Xu Mu's skin crawl!
Seeing Xu Mu's expression, Cynthia burst out laughing!
"All right, let's go eat!"
Then she gave Xu Mu a quick peck on the cheek.
That little kiss left Xu Mu's thoughts wandering.
But for now, he clearly wasn't getting another chance!
He would have to wait until later!
Xu Mu shook his head.
Then he followed Cynthia out.
They went to the dining room.
Kale acted as though nothing had happened.
He looked at Xu Mu with a broad smile.
"Come on, come on!"
"Let's eat, Xiao Mu!"
Xu Mu really didn't want to talk to him.
It had happened several times now.
Every time, Kale had ruined the moment.
But Xu Mu glanced at Cynthia beside him.
His resolve only grew stronger.
Once Misty and Jessie finished their competition,
he was definitely bringing them back!
Then he and Cynthia could have some proper time alone!
Xu Mu laughed aloud at the thought.
Kale gave him a strange look.
What was with this kid?
Why had he suddenly started laughing?
Had he been under too much pressure lately?
